CES has always been the best place to find the latest and best in technology, and this year was no different. TVs have always been a huge deal at CES, and even with many TV manufacturers facing financial difficulties, this year was really no different. 4K was the biggest thing when it came to TVs at the show, with everyone showing off their new high-res panels. Don’t expect to be buying one of these anytime soon though, with prices expected to extremely high for the foreseeable future.
Of course, Televisions weren’t the only things at CES 2013. When it comes to the more traditional computers, Lenovo was showing a 27-inch table PC (an all-in-one monitor similar to an iMac), something they hope will spur sales of their desktop PCs, something that PC manufacturers have been struggling with in the mobile age of computing.
Speaking of mobile, one of the strangest things to come out of this years CES was the YotaPhone. This phone combines two things you probably never thought you’d see together, a phone and an e-reader. On the front of the device is a 4.3 inch LCD screen like you would find on any phone, but on the back is a second screen of the same size that uses e-ink. All in all, there was something for everyone at CES 2013. No matter what kind of tech you are into, CES has the best of it.
